Born 1978 in Hamburg, he was raised in a rural area near the North Sea, and finally moved back to Hamburg in 1997.
In 1999 baze.djunkiii established his own imprint Intrauterin Recordings as a vinyl outlet for what he calls "quality [electronic] music" in general, followed by the now defunct sister label Intrauterin Tapes focusing on Drum'n'Bass, UK Garage & DarkJungle mixtape culture. Intrauterin Recordings has been branching out into the field of conceptual and art releases from 2012 onwards.
From 2006 onwards he was involved in managing Hamburg-based imprint Rudel Records alongside DJ Da Cut - a label which is specialized in Drum'n'Bass and Breakbeat music with a bit of Leftfield attitude but they split company when DJ Da Cut moved to Berlin.
