In 1963 he won an american Grammy Award for his composition "Alley Cat".
He has released and appeared on many albums and compilations throughout the years.
In 2004 he released the album "Jukebox" under the name Bent Fabric (which is a play on his real name as "fabric" is similar to the word "fabrik" in Danish, which means a "factory" - as many regard him as a music factory). On the album Bent works with many younger Danish Pop artists such as Allan Vegenfeldt, Peter Frödin, Infernal and Remee.
