Lime (2)

Lime (2)

Montreal based electronic disco band from the early 1980s. The duo consisted of husband and wife Denis & Denyse LePage. They never toured or appeared as Lime in public; they hired Joy Winter and Chris Marsh, who never appeared on Lime recordings, to be younger and more attractive sound-alikes for live events.

Denis and Denyse divorced and Denis underwent gender reassignment. She now records under the name Nini No Bless.

LIME is by far one of the BEST dance groups the 80's will EVER see. I used to spin all their vinyl in clubs or house parties where ever i went. I do believe i own the biggest LIME collection and it continues to grow and grow. The Duo also recorded under LePage and released many singles that were LIME personified! Denis LePage of LIME now goes under NiNi No Bless and No Bless. The music will never die and i shall continue to play it where ever i'm DJ'N. Schroeder (DJ WACK "O")

Definetly Lime was a great dance club driving force back in the 80's in the Puertorrican club scene. I can still remember listening to Angel Eyes, and Your Love at Jeens where the Dupont Plaza used to be (now the Condado Mariott) and at Club 305 in Old San Juan. I also happened to spin those and other songs at many parties here and in the states where i lived from 1986 to 1992. Just listening to them brings great memories of great parties and great times. Keep the good work!
