A one-man synth army akin to early Bill Nelson or Thomas Dolby, but with a grittier, denser use of electronics and more straight-forward 'dance' rhythms, The Pool, aka Patrick Keel, was a unique entity in the mid 80s, despite the then gradual decline of 'synth-pop'. All his work is energetic, boisterous, and exciting. '333' is a brilliant entry in the (many) splintered synth genre - so brilliant it's finally getting its well-deserved reissue on CD on the Anodize label in late 2014.

Amazing stuff, would be great to mix people/units like Alexander Robotnik in with this stuff. Quite glad my friend showed me this. Wondering what eqipment he used/uses back in the day... Roland 808 etc?
