Peter Hart

Peter Hart was a British songwriter. He, with Ralph Butler (2), won the 1957 Ivor Novello "Year’s Outstanding Novelty Song" award for "Nellie The Elephant." In 1958, he won the Ivor Novello "Best Song Musically and Lyrically" award for the title song to the film "The Wind Cannot Read," performed by Vera Lynn.
