Leroy Skeete Davis (Lee Davis) is known for his fantastic and unique piano and keyboard style, as well as his arrangements. He was very active and successful working as a live and studio musician in the mid 70s, 80s and late 90s (The New Foundations, Boney M., Lian Ross, Modern Talking, Charles D. Lewis).
The most successful song which Leroy worked on was “You're my Heart, You're my Soul” by Modern Talking (Dieter Bohlen), Modern Talking's first and biggest hit. Lee arranged and played all keyboards and piano on “You're my Heart, You're my Soul”.
Lee also played the piano on four other songs on the album, including “You Can Win if You Want”. All of the piano melodies were created by him. As songwriter and producer, Leroy Skeete Davis had his first successes in the 80s with songs performed by Lian Ross and Creative Connection, among others. In the 80s two of the songs written by Leroy Skeete Davis and Luis Rodrigues also won two song festivals. Leroy Skeete Davis is also co-producer and arranger of “You're my Heart, You're my Soul” by Creative Connection.
