Michael Danzinger was born into a musical familly in Vienna, originating in Gottesgab (today Boží Dar). His father was an active musician at Wiener Philharmoniker. He studied philosophy, latin and gymnastics in Vienna and learned to play piano and violin at the same time. His first contact with music was as an american war-prisoner in WWII. After the war, he started to work for Austria's broadcasting cooperation ORF. He formed a group with which he toured the world in the Sixites, even to countries like China. Later on, he started the TV-Show "Senioren-Club" where he regularly played songs on his piano for an older audience. He was often accompanied by Robert Stolz. In his whole carreer he recorded 38 LP's for the Austrian Label Amadeo. He died with 92 years.
