The Orchestra Della Toscana

Founded in 1980, the ORT is based in Florence and is now considered one of the best chamber orchestras in Italy.

It consists of 45 musicians, all excellent professionals who have been applauded in the most important Italian opera houses as La Scala Theatre, the Auditorium at the Lingotto in Turin, the Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome and in the most important venues in Europe and overseas , from Auditorio Nacional de Musica in Madrid at Carnegie Hall in New York.

He collaborates with illustrious musicians by Salvatore Accardo, Martha Argerich, Rudolf Barshai, Yuri Bashmet, Giorgio Battistelli, Luciano Berio, Frans Brüggen, Myung-Whun Chung, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Daniel Harding, Eliahu Inbal, Yo-Yo Ma and Uto Ughi.
