Valerij Voskobojnikov (born in Kharkiv, Ukraine in 1939) is a Russian pianist.

Voskobojnikov was a piano pupil of the Maestro and teacher Heinrich Neuhaus at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, until 1963, during which he got the final master. Voskobojnikov is established in Rome since 1965. He performed as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles in various cities around the world and in Italy. In his concerts he performed mainly Italian, Russian and Soviet composers (such as Bortnjanskij, Glinka, Borodin, Rimskij-Korsakov, Ciajkovskij, Skrjabin, Sostakovic, Prokof'ev, Denisov, Schnittke, Gubajdulina, Mansurjan, Volkonskij, Karamanov, Herschkowitz, etc.). He let know in Italy many works of Dmitrij Sostakovic. He also organized the performance of unknown works of Musorgskij, Prokof'ev, Sostakovic.

Voskobojnikov has served as a musical consultant for RAI (Radio Televisione Italiana), holding concerts and teaching at the University. He translated two books by his Professor into Italian and published various books and articles connected to Russian music and culture.
