Jin Sangtae

Jin Sangtae (b. 1975) is a Seoul, South Korea-based sound artist and improviser. His work features non-musical objects, amplified disk drives, laptop, radio and other electronic devices. He releases his composition ‘Year‘ on a daily basis via mobile phone since 2015. Sangtae is the founder of ‘dotolim‘, a small space for improvised music and experimental arts in Seoul and has been organising the ‘dotolim concert series’ since 2008 and the ‘dotolimpic‘ festival in 2012, 2013 and 2017.
