Whiting (16 August 1884, Chicago — 18 December 1943, New York City) was an American vaudeville lyricist and performer who co-wrote several highly successful songs, such as My Blue Heaven (1927) with Walter Donaldson, Every Little Bit Helps (1904) with Fred Fisher (2), High Up On A Hill Top (1928) with Abel Baer and Ian Campbell (27), and Saloon (1921) with Roland E. Llab.
