Deeper Cut

Deeper Cut

Profile:

Deeper Cut were a short lived production duo formed in early 1993 comprising of producers/writers Andy Allder and Lorin Cutts. Their debut white label 'Feel It' was an instant success thanks to Trade DJ's Tall Paul and Tony de Vit and the track was licensed to Chemical Records after receiving airplay on Pete Tong's Essential Selection. A publishing deal was signed with London Music/Polygram in 1994 and 'Organgrinder' became a firm favorite in Trade, eventually going on to appear on Tony de Vit's 'House Collection Volume 2' compilation.

By late '94 they were having issues with London and struggled to build on their early buzz. Sessions with Hooj Choons head honcho Jerry Dickens failed to deliver a final mix of 'Love Surrounds You', their eagerly anticipated follow-up to their first two tracks and shortly after the duo went their separate ways.
