Moved to Nashville in 1978 to play piano for The Hemphills, a gospel group. Worked with Barbara Mandrell, Ricky Skaggs, Dolly Parton, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Randy Travis, Patty Loveless and others. Married Christy Forester in Lookout Mountain, Ga., in 1986.
