He began studying piano at the age of 7.
In 1972 he represented Canada in the Yamaha International Grand Prix Concours in Japan, and was awarded the grand prize.
He took a position with Yamaha Canada as Electone/Keyboard Specialist and toured extensively visiting Asia, Australia, South Africa and Europe as well as his native Canada.
He had an innate ability to arrange and orchestrate for the organ.
He was the official organist for the Montreal Expos baseball team and performed at Montreal's Olympic stadium.
