Real Name:
Sid Truelove (John Carroll)
Back in 1990 I created a rave band called 'Xenophobia' with MC Skallywag from the Spiral Tribe and Zillah Minx (Rubella Ballet) providing angelic backing vocals.

The band did numerious PA's at illegal parties in London and the surrounding counties dodging the old bill at every step, the most famous being Castle Morten where 65,000 ravers congregated and out of nowhere the biggest unorganised party in Europe was in full swing.

Spiral Tribe had just released the 'Breach the Peace EP' with Xenophobia's monster track 'Doet' with the lyric 'Rush your f**kin bollocks off' on it and Xenophobia had just released 'Rush in the House' with the equaly excellent lyric Extacy it really gets me going, gets me so I don't know what i'm doing, go to the flow with an E an rush me Ooo rush me Eee rush me.

Castle Morten was a perfect opportunity for me to hand out a shed load of white lables to all the DJ's at all the rigs. I remember walking into one of the biggest tents at Castle Morten and the DJ spotted me coming in and stopped dead the tune he was playing and slammed on the white lable of 'Rush in the House' I gave him and the place went absolutly mental.

Rush in the house when released by Kickin Records and went straight in at number 20 in the national dance top 100 and is still played by Nikky Blackmarket at the back to 92 nights and he told me he saves it till everyone has necked their pills and are all coming up at about 1am then he drops his favorite tunes of all time 'Rush in the House' and the place just goes crazy.

Released at the hight of the pirate radio days it was getting played on every station, 7 days a week. On a couple of occasions you could flick through the channels and it would be on two or three station at once.

I even have a dub plate of the first press with Rush in the House on the B side and The Wobbler on the A side and i'm up for offers as the original is worth up to a hundred quid in the UK.

I am about to release a Xenophobia CD/DVD with all the unreleased tracks and remixes with a DVD of the live PA we did at Rave World in 1992. all this Coming SOON...........
