He was rewarded the ultimate gift in 1995 with the release of his first major album alongside friend Kurupt under the moniker Tha Dogg Pound. Their release Dogg Food topped the charts and sold over two million copies. Daz began focusing on production later into the 1990's after releasing his debut solo album Retaliation, Revenge And Get Back in 1998.
