Smooth + simmonds, aka Jack Smooth + Chris Simmonds. UK pioneers of early acid/house/elctronic grooves. Smooth went on to be Smmoth But Hazzardous with myself, along with about 100 other personas and over 500 releases. Chris Simmonds still records as himself, recent projects in Jeff Lorber's studio, in Ventura california, making house music with Patrice Rushen. Smooth now designs websites and trade show displays for the audio industry in his own company, he has no plans to make music again in the near future. At one point in his career, nearly every DJ had at least 2-5 of his records in their box at every gig.
