Jayne Cortez

American poet and performance artist, born 10 May 1936 in Fort Huachuca, Arizona, USA. Died 28 December 2012 in Manhattan, New York.
She was married for several years to Ornette Coleman. Their son, Denardo Coleman, is also a jazz drummer.
