Probably one of the most interesting thing that ever happened to music within this current millenium.

Romance and poetry, crafted with a cutting-edge, mysterious and captivating aesthetics. Being a lover of Romantic thinkers from the XVIIIth and XIXth century, I read a lot of books with Pantha Du Prince as a soundtrack, and it was fantastic.

The Pantha Du Prince entire persona was also even more exciting when post-2010 communication era did not exist yet. I remember when I discovered him in the 2000s when he was just a name, a few pictures, a few deep and intelligent words on a personal website, and that's all. This minimalistic way to be, as an artist, fitted Pantha particulary well because, for me, the seed and essence of his music is Intriguing Mystery.

Each track and release have got an exceptionnal sense of timeless quality, and Pantha Du Prince's progression over the years is so fluid and natural that his musical career looks like a tree that is slightly, delicately, gently, elegantly growing.

Also, "light" is brighter and brighter the more Hendrik releases some music :

On "Diamond Daze", the sound is harsh/raw and airy at the same time, electronic influenced by rock and shoegaze. Melodies are delicate and sensitive but the aesthetics is very dusty (in a good way). it sounds like timeless romance and a dusty pair of jeans at the same time. It's also like opening an old book from the attic. Words written are pure poetry, but it's not easy to read them, because of the dust and the frail light of the foggy night.

On "This Bliss", candles have been lit and these poetry words shine bright and have grown on us. We are still in the attic but a desire to go out (or to go deep inside our inner self) was born. Also, some bells are starting to ring, and the twinkling reminds me some subtle magic spells you could weave. Novalis said that nature is like a petrified magic wand. This creation somewhat makes me think about it.

With "Black Noise", we are out and we are exploring nature as the light illuminates more and more our path. The bells are also more demonstrative and twinkling, like an echo to the flowers and rivers around us.

And finally, with "Elements Of Light", shadow has been tamed by the light (well, it's quite wrong because Hendrik's music is still full of chiaroscuro but...), the bells are the queens and their language is an ode to pure spirituality.

Thank you Hendrik for this genius expression.
