Richard Walley is one of Australia's leading Aboriginal performers and writers. He was born in Meekatharra, in 1953. [...] In 1987 he formed the Middar Aboriginal Theatre, with Ernie Dingo and three other aboriginals. Middar was originally established to help save the Nyoongar Aboriginal culture and there were performances in 32 countries on every continent.
Richard Walley has played his unique style of didgeridoo with many famous musicians, such as Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder.
