Andy Guthrie has worked as a musician, sound engineer and producer since 1985, when he started touring Europe with the Leamington multimedia band, Jackdaw With Crowbar, playing keyboards and violin. He subsequently played keyboards with bhangra artist Johnny Zee, reggae band Tropical Dawn and in 1988 worked at Island Records Studio in Hammersmith programming a reggae album for producer Paul 'Groucho' Smykle. He co-founded Banco De Gaia with Toby Marks in 1989, produced the Sirius Sounds album by Children Of The Bong and worked as sound engineer for Banco De Gaia and The Siren. In the early 90's, he worked with Medicine Drum, Prana, Eat Static, Tristan, Si Wild and ManMadeMan amongst others, besides his own projects 100th Monkey and Funkopath. Works as a composer for media and theatre, in teaching and as a freelance producer.
