Profile:
British multi-instrumentalist and composer. He studied piano, violin and composition at the Royal College of Music. He started working as a bass player, piano accompanist and jazz violinist to Cleo Laine and John Dankworth, an association that took him around the world, becoming a much in demand session musician.

Together with Joe Campbell he was also behind the music production company 'Joe & Co', a company specializing in composing and producing music for advertising, film and television. The company came to be regarded as one of the foremost music production companies in the world. He has written concert music for the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the King’s Singers.
