The "G" Notes

Profile:
Coleen Gino, Linda Gino, and Nancy Gino. Three sisters that began singing in their father's, Sam Gino, home recording studio.
In 1958, the group had been seen by Ricki Page who asked them record a song she had written, Johnny, Johnny, Johnny. Page's friend, Eddie Cochran, played the guitar on the track. He liked the song so much, he asked Page if he could record it. He changed the title to Jeanie, Jeanie, Jeanie.

Also recorded as The Gino Sisters.
Later, Linda and Nancy would perform with a boy as Jeff & The Gino's. The same sisters went on to be part of the 7 member group, The Youngfolk.
