Client

Profile:
Client was originally formed by Kate Holmes (former member of Frazier Chorus then Technique) aka Client A and Sarah Blackwood (former member of Dubstar (2)) aka Client B.

In 2002 they were the first signing to Toast Hawaii, the label run by Depeche Mode's Andrew Fletcher.

After the split with Toast Hawaii in 2005, Client was signed by different labels like Out Of Line (for Europe except UK and Scandinavia), SubSpace Communications (for Scandinavia), Metropolis (USA) and Noiselab (Mexico). In the UK they release on band member Kate Holmes' own label Loser Friendly Records.

On December 19th 2010, Client B left the band. Nicole Thomas has been recruited for vocal duties.

Synthesizer became a fetish long time ago, it is a fact that is hard to deny - we've all built a considerable dependency on the juicy, albeit sterile drum machine, appealing enough to drive us crazy for its gorgeous repetition; early 80s proved particularly thick on the ground and changed the face of pop forever - although there were, and still are, counless hybrids that mercilessly kill off electronic pop music, there are also those you might recognise appearing with warmth and idiosyncracy, receiving them as warmly as they suggest - Client is one of them. 'Defenders on earth' that appeared to twist their electronic knife into music mass-consumerism. Client's obscure chant 'Client - we never say no, Client - satisfaction guarrantee' makes a shivering and stunning effect towards a listener whose imagination spreads in both, musical and sexual, agreeably circling around one - rhythm and melody potency filled with body juice. Client never miss the trick indeed. Their 'Price of Dub' is out now on Mute/Toast Hawaii. A fine example of timeless electronic pulse. Recommended.
