Now this has to be one of the most awesome groups ever to have existed to humankind! Think of Stevie Wonder mashed in with Roy Ayers and Chic, and even sometimes a little dose of Daft Punk, you get one of the absolute funkiest groups ever made. Yes boys and girls, I am talking about Jamiroquai!!!!

Led by the car-obsessed cat in the hat Jay Kay, who's voice is like a female Stevie Wonder, these guys have never released a bad record, and show no signs of going downhill (in my eyes anyway). From the Acid Jazz of Too Young to Die, to the Disco House of Canned Heat and Little L, there is something for everybody with this band, if you can handle the funk.

Much respect to them all for keeping the funk alive!

One of the few groups in popular music that have both got soul and still have a soul. They have been going since the early 90s yet their distinct style and sound has not deteriorated one bit.

I've known about them for quite some time, but never bothered to thoroughly investigate them until just a few months ago. I shouldn't have held back so long! They are amazing! All their tracks have a great funky vibe. Some more funky than others! I'm pretty sure Jamiroquai inspired their remixers just as much as they have inspired me. There are some great remixes of their classic tracks such as David Morales' deep-sounding remix of "Cosmic Girl" and Raul Rincon's new remix of "Love Foolosophy".

I've always thought that if there is a group I like so much, I should do more than just buy their 'Greatest Hits' collections, which is also, unfortunately, the case for these guys here too but given time, I shall have all the songs they've ever done!

Jamiroquai are an extremely inspiring group. I've had quite a bit of luck on my latest productions because of them. If you are an aspiring House producer, then Jamiroquai is definately the way forward and also your way forward!
