Túlio began playing bass and guitar in metal bands in the late eighties. During the 90s, as well as metal, plays hip-hop and experimental rock. In the late 90s, begins to take an interest in contemporary classical music, electronic / electroacoustic music, experimental music and free improvisation. Creates Hrönir with Thelmo Cristovam and participates in several recordings with the Combo Recife de Improviso, a free improv group. Nowadays, in addition to solo work in computer music, still plays with Hrönir and Realidade Encoberta, a crossover band that mixes thrash with hardcore.
