Bros

Profile:
Formed: 1986 / Disbanded: 1992. Reformed in 2017.
Bros is an English pop group who achieved global success from 1988-1992 with songs such as "When Will I Be Famous" and "I Owe You Nothing". Bros released their studio album 'Push' which sold over 10 million copies worldwide. Their second album 'The Time' sold over 3 million copies worldwide and finally 'Changing Faces' sold 500,000 copies worldwide. Bros are the youngest group In British Music History to sell out Wembley stadium 19 consecutive nights. Bros had over 6 millions fans in their Bros front fan club. Wherever Bros went, thousands of fans would follow and even the London Met Police had to corner off Oxford Street HMV in 1988 due to 130,000 fans blocking the street to get their album signed. Brosmania was born. In 2017 they reformed with two shows at London’s O2 Arena.
Please note: The Brothers (7) credited for writing Bros material is a deliberately confusing alias of Tom Watkins and Nicky Graham, their manager and producer at the time.

Bros has to be one the most under rated bands of all time, there music was amazing with Push selling over 10 million copies world and the time selling 3 million copies world not many bands or artist can sell that amount these days unless your adele or ed sheeran but there sales are also based on streaming so I love bros and always will

Well, I'm of maybe the few to defend their 2nd album "Time". it's full of excellent songs and some are simply beautiful. More balanced, a bit more mature than the first album. Interestingly, it's not my kind of stlye but I love that album so there must be something in there...

If there was a proper in-depth study on 'boy-bands' history, Bros (alongside NKOTB) should be claimed as one of the first inaugurators of the genre - pin-up stars wrapped up hype to their necks with a whole set of additional features (most notably 'Brosettes')... BUT if you take out the boy-band effect from Bros then you can see their debut album 'Push' as confusing piece of quite solidly structured pop pieces that might have affected a certain Blink 182 (after all, they played bass, drums and 'matt')... Songs like 'Ten Out Of Ten', 'Love To Hate You', 'It's a Jungle Out There' and most notably 'Cat Among the Pigeons' stand as an interesting choice to their shortliving success after which the band split with Craig Logan, went bankrupt and ended in mysterious ways (with two extremely horribly awful later albums). Nothing short of a sensation, Bros ended as quickly as they started - 'Push' could be recommended to teens but what's the use, there are plenty of faceless copycats out there already...
