Double Exposure

Profile:

Soul disco vocal quartet, formed in 1968, Philadelphia.
First called The United Image and recorded for Stax.
Their first release for the fledgling Salsoul Records was also the first commercial 12" single ever released.
Their introduction to Salsoul Records was via their friendship with producer Norman Harris, whom they had known since 1961.
Harris produced all three albums.
The original four Double Exposure members reunited in 2010 and began performing shows again. In 2012 the group recorded a new single, "Lady."
