The most underrated 90s indie band, hands down. The songs are profound and melodic and still have weight. Amazingly Eugenius sounds very different than The Vaselines, but also feels relevant. I always wondered what would have happened if this band was on a larger indie label like Sub Pop or Merge rather than the obscurity of Atlantic Records?
