Profile:

Utrecht-based Trance Induction is a project of former philosophy and artificial intelligence student Tjeerd Verbeek [1968], who left university for a career in dance music. Since 1990 Verbeek has been developing his own eclectic style - a blend of acidhouse, ambient, techno, world music, breakbeats and industrial new wave. From 1995 until 1998, Trance Induction did several club tours, combining live- and DJ performances. For these, Tjeerd was joined by DJ Zero One of Random XS fame.
Over the years Verbeek released several 12"es under different artist names, some of them collaborations with others.
