Charles L. Cooke
American jazz pianist, bandleader, arranger and composer.
From 1922 to 1927 he was musical director at the Dreamland Ballroom in Chicago.
In 1926 he received a Ph.D. in music, and henceforth he billed himself as Doc Cook.
