Japanese electronic producer.

Born: 1977 in Tokyo, Japan.

Makoto Shimizu is best known for his drum'n'bass work, inspired by the albums LTJ Bukem "Logical Progression" (1996) and Goldie "Timeless" (1995), he has gone on to both produce and remix.

One widely known track was actually the downtempo single "You're Divine" (2001) featuring vocalist Lori Fine of group Coldfeet, taken from his seminal debut album "Human Elements" (2003).
