Best known to have formed The Michael Zager Band, which had disco hits like "Let's All Chant" (1977) and "Life's A Party" (1978) . He often wrote songs with Alvin Fields, and discovered Whitney Houston when she was 14. Indeed, Whitney sang with her mother Cissy on the track "Life's A Party" of the Michael Zager Band.
