Sandoz was one of the most prominent solo monikers of Richard H. Kirk since 1992, who produced - after twenty years of listening to Jamaican music - contemporary Electronic Dance music with Jamaican Reggae and Dub influences and other ethnic styles. The first album Digital Lifeforms is a collection of previously released 12" tracks.

Note: Sandoz Laboratories was a Swiss pharmaceutical company, best known for inventing LSD in 1938 and later marketing it as a psychiatric drug under the trade name Delysid.
