Re-Style started producing his own music at the age of twelve, and after some investments he decided to send a demo ...to Masters of Hardcore. Bass-D and Outblast learned him more on mixing and mastering, which led to his first release in 2002. His productions became better and better and in 2005 he was offered to create the anthem for Masters of Hardcore – The Outbreak of The Hardcore Psychopaths".
After that EP, Mathijs continued to deliver hardcore smashes with tracks like "Right Here, Right Now", "Motherfucking Bullit", "Sacrifice", "Keep The Vibes Alive" and "Co-Kane". Re-Style struck back with the very successful "Asskicked" and "Planetgroover" EP's, which featured Mathijs' biggest hit to date: "Get It Crackin". Due to the success of both EP's, Mathijs was asked to do several remixes for artists like Korsakoff, Predator, Angerfist, Dr. Z-Vago and AniMe.
Re-Style stepped his game up in 2010 and led to his second big anthem: "Rise of The Ruler" was Syndicate's 2010 theme song. Mathijs also started collaborating with key-producers of the present hardcore scene. He joined arms with acts such as Outblast, Predator, Bass-D resulting in tracks like "Alive", "Lost Kingdom" and "Back On The Job". In 2011, Re-Style created a special 2011 edit of "Get It Crackin" and remixed Korsakoff's album title song "Unrivalled". He also dropped a new MOH release one month after that called "For The Masses" that is already played by much major DJ's.
As a performing artist, Re-Style has played all over the world to spread the hardcore virus. He rocked the stage at major Dutch events like Masters of Hardcore, Dominator, Emporium, Harmony of Hardcore, Megarave and Hardcore4life. Besides his performances in his own country, Re-Style also played on the biggest stages in countries like Australia, the UK, Germany, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Italy and Spain.
