Marcel Lefebvre

Canadian (Québec) songwriter, author, designer, director, and painter. (26 October 1941 – 26 November 2022 - age 81).
We owe him the title Chante-La Ta Chanson by his great friend Jean Lapointe. He is also the author of the lyrics of Un Jour Il Viendra Mon Amour, a hit title by Diane Dufresne.
He is the architect, with Paul Baillargeon, of the song Une Colombe, performed by Céline Dion at the Olympic Stadium, Montreal on the occasion of the visit of His Holiness Pope John Paul II in 1984. The title earned the Félix for popular song and the best-selling super 45 rpm the following year.
He was also a well-known publicist. He wrote the theme for the advertising Les Petits Poudings Laura Secord performed by La Famille Simard in the 70s.
On the big screen, he wrote the screenplays for three films by Denis Héroux, including Un Enfant Comme Les Autres (1972), and directed the film Mustang (1975), one of the few Quebec westerns, with Yves Gélinas.
He is the author of the trilogy of novels La Rebelle Et Le Yankee, and a painter known for his depictions of white geese.
