--First issue (1975) has PC catalog number. First state covers are designated with the misprint tag. They credit "John Landau." Some have a sticker which corrects to "Jon."

I came here for the title track, I ended up amazed that the entire A side kept the E Street Band on their toes to keep up with the energy of the lead single. "Backstreets" is a great standout in this LP other than "Born To Run", since it is a great song to reminisce to, but the remainder of the LP flows cohesively as one of the most beautiful records to grace my ears thanks to the E Street Bands handling of their respective instruments, whilst Springsteen's rugged crooning (that after hearing this, I can finally see who Lady GAGA was listening to as she solidified her own style) envelope's the backing tracks, nestling perhaps not only one of the greatest songs of all time, but perhaps one of the greatest LPs of all time as well.

This s**t should be a f**kin no-brainer son! TENTH AVENUE FREEZE OUT! Never sounded so good! This remaster is audiophile quality for a hell of a price. You get one quiet pressing with great dynamics and a beautiful soundstage. The bass is full, drums punchy, piano bright, overall rich, high definition tones. Bruce's voice shines. If I have any complaint it's that the vocals on "Night" sound a little compressed and some of the instrumentation on that track can get a little muddy. But overall I really enjoy this reissue and hearing the songs like this.

The Bruce Springsteen promise finally realized. His vision is greater than his renditions. Many of his songs better performed by experts in the genre he's dabbling in. See Music Cares performances. But NOT Born to Run. Only he can do that one!

The label printed on both sides of my copy has the listing for the A-side of the record. It has Jon Landau credited as "John" but has anyone else got this double A-side label? The reverse side plays as the B-side track listing - Born to Run, She's the One etc...
