Just received this and now I am a bit nervous with all the news about terrible pressing quality. However, if you are looking for a copy, it is still available from sacred bones, so no need to feed the scalpers here

Packaging and records are beautiful but like others said, lots of cracks and pops, especially on side A.

Tons of crackle and loud pops throughout. Waxwork Records did an amazing job creating a visually pleasing boxed set; however, when it comes to the heart of the project, the sound quality, they dropped the ball. Personally, I am here for the audio, not the presentation. If Waxwork could get it right, I would rather have the music pressed on basic black vinyl with a sparse sleeve. I guess that's why I am still hunting for an original pressing. Some folks are saying theirs sound great, while others have issues. Welcome to the Waxwork crapshoot. Good luck. Another highly anticipated but very disappointing edition.
Artworks and packaging are beautiful. But both vinyls (Morricone+Carpenter) sound terrible !!!
Dust and crackels after soft cleaning.
What is the pressing plant ?
Dagored Italy is doing fine black audiophile quality vinyls for Ennio Morricone, Bruno Nicolai... at very reasonable prices.
Sacred Bones, Waxwork and Mondo are expensive. They should work with Third Man records (USA) or european pressing plants.
