My seems fine too thankfully, seeing the comments below. Agree the packaging isn't the best. But sounds great, as does the RC re-release

My copy sounds amazingly pristine & audiophile. I couldn't notice a single pop or crack on any side of the 4 records - and the recording has a perfect stereo and stage balance. Pretty impressed. I always wet clean every record (with a cleaning machine) before I spin it. Maybe that's the issue with some disappointing experiences here?

I can say that after several listenings on two turntables: Sherwood bought in 2008 (with vintage amplifiler Jvc from end of 70's) and a Sony 78, the sound of 4 records is top, great vibrations and feelings, Prince is amazing artist.

Love the Album but my copy has significant surface noise an the right channel that appears once per revolution and on all 4 LPs. Unfortunately I'm too late to return it.

Beware of pressings with surface noise all over the place. Had to return my copy. Sony has got to stop pressing on "purple vinyl". It doesn't help at all. Purple was fun for the three first Sony reissues. Now we can return to black wax please.

Got my copy - I have noticed LP 3 has surface noise on Side E & on all of side F. Other than that was perfect. Such a shame, may have to return and hope for a better copy.

Just received my 4xLP set of the One Nite ALone...Live Purple Vinyl, sounds amazing, the packaging is well put together.
