Pankow are the pioneers of Italian EBM/industrial.
They formed in Florence in 1979 and started experimenting with electronic machines from 1981.
The second singer, Alex Spalck, has been the composer of all the lyrics from their first release,
the EP on cassette Throw Out Rite (1983), followed by the legendary first EP Pankow EP on KinderGarten Records (1984) until 2007.

The 1st LP came in 1987 on Contempo Records, Freiheit Fuer Die Sklaven and was produced by pankow-панков and Adrian Sherwood.
1989 on Contempo Records, Gisela produced by pankow-панков and Rico Conning.
1990 on Contempo Records Omne Animal Triste Post Coitum produced by pankow-панков live album
1992 on Contempo Records, Treue Hunde produced by pankow-панков and Paul Kendall
In 1993 the band split up, Spalck went to live in Australia
In 1996 fm released the 5th LP with GB of Limbo the album named Pankow produced by pankow-панков.
2003 with Alex Spalck back, Life Is Offensive And Refuses To Apologise out on Minus Habens and in 2007 with Great Minds Against Themselves Conspire out on Wheesht.
2013 on Out Of Line And Shun The Cure They Most Desire with the new front-man Bram Declercq, produced by pankow-панков.

Pankow were the first Italian electronic band to gain wide success in Europe and the USA, they did a tour of 30 dates in the States at the beginning of the 90s'.
The band is currently active and based in Italy/Australia/Belgium with the heads of the band Maurizio Fasolo and Alex Spalck, the frontman singer Bram Declercq and Enzo Regi. , Bandcamp , , Facebook
