Profile:

German pianist. Born 10 March 1964 in Neckarsulm. Nuss studied jazz piano at the conservatories in Cologne. He teaches at the conservatories in Cologne, Stuttgart and Berlin. He performed with greats like Clark Terry, Benny Bailey, Don Menza, John Goldsby, Johnny Griffin, John Riley, Art Farmer, Slide Hampton, Lars Danielsson, Nils Landgren, Toots Thielemans, Ack Van Rooyen & Bob Brookmeyer. He was awarded the WDR Jazz Prize for improvisation in 2008.
He is the brother of Ludwig Nuß and uncle of Benyamin Nuss.
