Angela Strandberg

Angela Strandberg was born in Sweden as the daughter of two musicians (Paul Strandberg is her father) and learned to play the piano and trumpet as a child. The washboard was an early part of her musical repertoire. Today she lives in Paris, where she first attended a conservatory and studied bebop jazz. She dropped out of college to start Mama Shakers. Strandberg is the front woman and singer, washboard and trumpet player of the band.
