Founded in 1969 by Albert Brüggemann as a side job to his main occupation as sound engineer with the German public broadcasting company Hessischer Rundfunk. Due to an increasing order volume, Brüggemann's wife Chris Brüggemann started cutting in 1971.
A second cutting studio was established in 1994; both cutting studios were equipped with Neumann VMS80 lathes.
After the Brüggemann's retired in 2011, the studio was owned and operated by Daniel Krieger.
