Universo Series or Universo-Serie is a series of classical music by the Philips label.
Its initial release took place in November 1971, and new releases in the series were issued until around June 1978. It was replaced by Festivo Series
The Universo series has its focus on Europe, releasing t all titles simultaneously in the UK, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands and the Scandinavian countries. The works on the series represent the most important artists from these countries. All releases are illustrated by Western-European graphical artists. The releases provide illustrations, documents and contextual writings on the featured works & composers.
This series appears in Germany as "Universo-Serie".
