Rolling Stones Records

Profil:

Label created and owned by The Rolling Stones. The label was launched in 1971 when the Rolling Stones signed with the Kinney group. It was distributed in the U.S. by ATCO, then Atlantic. In the rest of the world, it was distributed by Kinney, then WEA's affiliated companies until 1978. In 1978, the label moved to EMI for the world outside North America, with this deal lasting until 1986. It remained with Atlantic in North America. In 1986 CBS (world beyond the Americans) and Columbia (North America) took over distribution. This deal expired in 1994 and the band moved their label's catalogue and new band releases to Virgin worldwide where it remained until 2009.

Since 2009 Rolling Stones Records has been distributed globally by Universal Music Group.

The first Rolling Stones release on this label was the "Sticky Fingers" LP. Other artists that had releases on Rolling Stones Records include Peter Tosh and Bill Wyman. Since 1984, it has been used exclusively for releases by the band, including reissues. Please add this label to all releases that carry the "tongue and lips" logo including artistic variations of it as have appeared from time to time.

I have a white label LP without cover or information, which , in the run-out says, Rolling Stones records COC 49102 A1. This sounds like a Texas rock band. Any ideas?
