Sounds good except side 2 skips/loops on Street Life - Randy Crawford. I have to pick the needle up and move it past the part that skips to continue listening. Brand new out of the shrink wrap

Well I have nothing to compare this too other than a streaming service, but my word this pressing is sublime, it’s a full sounding record and dead quiet too, I got mine really cheap, I would highly recommend to everyone, especially if you are trying to collect Tarantino soundtracks like me!

Con respecto al sonido la verdad que tengo cero quejas, está perfectamente prensado y equalizado. Grabes excelentes y unos agudos muy buenos.
Aparte de venir incluidos los diálogos de los personajes de la peli como trasiciones entre algunos temas (cosa que en Spotify fué eliminado).

Pero dale hermano media pila con las tapas. Ni mi Sony Ericsson del 2007 sacaba fotos tan pixeleadas como la de estas tapas.

Quitando ese defecto está tremendo este LP.

Sounds OK, Pressing is OK. But it is clearly digitally sourced.

I like the sound of this particular album. It is mastered in a different way than, for instance, the vinyl releases of both the Pulp Fiction or Kill Bill Vol. 2 soundtrack. It has a very analogue sound to me unlike the Pulp Fiction soundtrack which itself sounds great but sounds less analogue to my ears. The Jackie Brown soundtrack here has excellent dynamics and is really well mastered. However this release has a different issue. Both sides are a bit long with at least 25 minutes of playing time. So it is a bit low on the volume but otherwise it sounds really great. Just listen to the fantastic Who Is He ( And What Is He To You?) song. Sounds excellent. [ Playing this using an Ortofon 2M Black cartridge ]

Es ist von Vorteil, wenn man den Film kennt, um diesen Soundtrack zu verstehen. Hier erlebt alte Soul-Disco-Musik eine Renaissance. Alte One-Hit-Wonder wurden hier wieder hervorgekramt, denn von The Grass Roots, The Delfonics und Bloodstone habe ich noch nie etwas gehört. Es sind mit Bill Withers, Johnny Cash, Brother Johnson und Minnie Riperton aber auch alte Bekannte vorhanden. Originaleinspielungen vom Film sind auch vorhanden (ist wohl jetzt groß in Mode). Besonders gelungen ist "Monte Carlo nights", da dieses Instrumental hält was der Titel verspricht. Daß aber "(Holy matrimony) letter to the firm" auf diesem Soundtrack vorhanden ist, ist einfach lächerlich, denn dieser fällt negativ aus dem Rahmen. Ich habe mir übrigens diese Platte nur aus dem Grunde gekauft, da mir die Musik im Kino schon positiv aufgefallen ist. Dies spricht jawohl für einen Soundtrack und die Songauswahl von Quentin Tarantino, oder nicht?
