Always remember, never forget! This saw the dawn of light in 1999... it is a seminal album. Compare it to any other album released that year and you tell me that it is something else than completely/absolutely and nothing but futuristic.

Marco tries hard here but it falls a little short. Trying to meld the mechanical rhythms of 1996 Autechre and the strings of "Royal Astronomy"-era Mu-Ziq, Passarani succeeds in creating a sinister mood. The track titles and artwork are totally "Tri Repetae." However, the tracks become stagnant and the sound textures sound like an out-of-the-box collection for Reason or Fruity Loops. Even a kick drum on "Nul" lifted from Aphex Twin's "Xepha" doesn't help spice up the tired clanking patterns. Passarani can do better.
