Just realised my copy has a cardboard insert of the cover artwork signed by Hans Zimmer. Unable to find any info on this but a copy of such recently sold on Fleabay for £95.00.

Sounds fantastic! A little noisy, but that's to be expected from dynamic orchestral score records, there's more chance to hear the static and dirt. Once I get a spin clean I think that'll take care of it, but it sounds great already!

Music sounds great but with all picture discs the lead-in and lead-out has the typical low static rumble and occasional pop. If you are an audiophile, I would stick with the standard album. I appreciate the novelty of the picture disc and I am pleased with it.

Has anyone bought this version? How does it play and is the plastic holder big enough to insert the sleeves you can buy?

My copy, bought at Platomania/Concerto in The Netherlands (so no Amazon exclusive), is absolutely flawless. Stunning pressing!

Awesome score but same here, it sounds terrible and a click through the entire first side.

The score is great, but this pressing is absolutely horrendous - full of really nasty pops and clicks that sound like deep scratches. I looked in the Amazon reviews and the defects on my copy occur in exactly the same places as mentioned in those reviews, leading me to believe this is a production issue rather than an issue inherent to the colour of the records (which is a shame, because they look absolutely stunning). Horrible QC, would avoid unless you're the type of person who likes looking at records as opposed to playing them.
