It was soon confirmed, both by Jai Paul and XL Recordings, that this was an illegal leak of demos.
"This music was not uploaded by Jai and it's not his debut album - it is a collection of various unfinished recordings from Jai's past" the statement from XL Recordings read.
This set of demos was eventually officially released by Jai Paul via his website on June 1, 2019.

no confirmation bias - this has unreal punch and clarity in the low end. Blown away
Sounds great. As others have mentioned the bass in this is crazy. I feel like the streaming version’s bass isn’t this pronounced, but I’m into it.
Found this for $20 at my local shop. It sounds incredible, couldn’t stop playing it. So glad XL finally did justice to this classic.
A stupendously great pressing. The sub bass is phenomenal without being overbearing. Incredible clarity and hardly any surface noise on my copy. Highly recommended!- still on sale at rough trade website as of january 3rd 2024
Easily one of the best sounding records I have in my collection the bass and instruments make this sound like it was meant for vinyl. 5/5
