This one has been a slow burner for me. I bought it over 2 years ago (!). Who knows why i kept it, but here I sit, enthralled with it and amazed I'd never heard it this way before. The vocals on some of the tracks were what irked me on the first listen, but this time 'round they really are very much in the track, a part of the soundscape, not too needy, not too up front.
All of the tracks are well crafted, deep and beautiful, and while they're all electronic, some lean more towards idm, some towards ambient, some noise.. hell, one even sounded kinda grindy rock/blues! Ambient washes to bombastic shredded drum tracks, this album really is an amazing collection of sound.
